OnestQR is a dynamic QR code generator that lets you create, customize, edit, and track QR codes from one dashboard. You can start for free without creating an account.
Yes. Guest and Member accounts are free forever. You get dynamic QR codes, full analytics, custom designs, and editing on every plan. Pro is optional and only needed when you want unlimited codes and higher limits.
No. You can start as a Guest with zero signup. OnestQR gives you a secure 5-word recovery phrase so you can return to your dashboard anytime. If you prefer email login, create a free Member account instead.
Click Create QR, paste your content (a URL, Wi-Fi details, email, plain text, or contact info), customize the design if you want, then download as PNG or SVG. The whole process takes seconds.
OnestQR supports website links, plain text, email addresses, phone numbers, SMS, Wi-Fi networks, vCard contacts, PDF links, Google review links, menus, event pages, and more. The generator detects the content type automatically.
All three tiers use the same dashboard and include dynamic codes, analytics, editing, and custom designs. Guest needs no signup and uses a recovery phrase (10 codes). Member adds email login (100 codes). Pro unlocks unlimited codes and priority support for $5.99/month.
When you start as a Guest, OnestQR generates a unique 5-word recovery phrase. It works like a password — save it somewhere safe. Enter it anytime to access your dashboard without an email or password.
Your recovery phrase is the only way to access a Guest account. If you lose it, we cannot recover your codes. We strongly recommend writing it down or saving it in a password manager. You can also create a free Member account with email login to avoid relying on a phrase.
Yes. You can create a free Member account with your email at any time. Your existing codes and settings carry over, and you get a higher code limit plus standard email-and-password login.
Pro costs $5.99 per month and is billed through Dodo Payments. You can upgrade when you need unlimited QR codes and priority support. Cancel anytime — there is no long-term contract.
A dynamic QR code points to a short redirect URL that you control. When someone scans it, they are sent to your current destination. You can change that destination anytime without reprinting the code.
A static QR code encodes data directly — change the link and you need a new code. A dynamic QR code routes through OnestQR, so you can edit the destination, track scans, and manage everything from your dashboard after printing.
Yes. That is the main benefit of dynamic QR codes. Update the link on menus, business cards, posters, or packaging whenever you want. The printed code stays the same.
No. Your QR codes do not expire on any plan. As long as your account is active and within your plan limits, your codes keep working.
No. You can update redirects as often as you need. There are no redirect caps on any plan.
Yes. Adjust colors to match your brand, round the corners, and add your logo to the center. Every change previews live so you always see the final result before downloading.
You can export high-resolution PNG for screens and print, or scalable SVG for any size without quality loss. PDF export is coming soon.

Only you can manage your codes from your dashboard. People who scan your QR code are sent to the destination you set — they do not see your account or other codes.
For reliable scanning, print at least 2 cm (about 0.8 inches) square. Larger is better for posters, signage, and distance scanning. Use SVG for large-format print to keep edges sharp.

Common causes are low contrast, printing too small, glare on laminated surfaces, or a logo covering too much of the code. Try increasing size, boosting contrast, or reducing logo coverage. Test with your phone before mass printing.
